Welcome to The Food Pantry

The Food Pantry of Indian River County was formed over 23 years ago, with the mission of providing food to the disadvantaged, unemployed and underemployed of Indian River County.

In this role, we provide an emergency supply of food (normally 3 to 4 days of canned and dry good staples), to residents and transients on a no more than once per month basis.

The Food Pantry of Indian River County is the largest pure Food Pantry providing emergency food provisions, at no cost, to County residents in the area.

Not only does your dollar help feed those in need but through our partnerships we are able leverage you donations to buy food at a discount. In this way we are able to turn every dollar you donate into $3 on average.

The Food Pantry of Indian River County welcomes donations of non-refrigerated, non-perishable foods in addition to donations of money. Our volunteers make sure your donations help feed the hungry residents of Indian River County who need assistance purchasing food. All food must be non-perishable.

If interested in volunteering, you are welcome to stop in during normal operating hours to get familiar with our operation. At that time, you will be put in contact with a scheduling contact.

M,W & F: 9:00am to 1:00pm; T,Th: 2:00pm to 5:00pm

Create a Food Drive

Create a food drive to help feed hungry neighbors! You can use events like birthdays, anniversaries and holidays as fundraising opportunities. Simply direct friends and family to our website where they can donate money in honor the event or holiday. Remind them that for every dollar they donate, $3 dollars worth of food goes to residents in Indian River County in need of food assistance. Our organization is 100% volunteer based!
